Number and Algebra

Laws of indices, surds, quadratic equations and inequalities, polynomial factorisation (factor and remainder theorems), logarithms, exponential equations, and the binomial theorem. Advanced algebraic foundations for Cambridge AS and A Level Pure Mathematics.

Functions

Function notation, domain and range, composite and inverse functions, modulus functions, and transformations of graphs across linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric types. Foundational for all other topics and Cambridge AS and A Level Pure Mathematics.

Coordinate Geometry

Full straight-line equations, parallel and perpendicular gradients, equations of circles, and tangent conditions for lines and circles. Coordinate geometry assessed in both Additional Mathematics papers and foundational for Cambridge AS and A Level Pure Mathematics 1.

Geometry

Radian measure, exact trigonometric values, solving trig equations, trigonometric identities, the sine and cosine rules, and 3D geometry. Full trigonometry assessed in both papers and foundational for Cambridge AS and A Level Pure Mathematics 2 and 3.

Probability and Statistics

Permutations, combinations, the binomial distribution, expected value, conditional probability, and independence. Advanced probability and counting skills assessed in both papers and foundational for Cambridge AS and A Level Probability and Statistics 1.
